hi! for your document-self pic. You probaby use a strong lights and make your imge bright. I think this image is good. The only thing that I can think if the image is not cutting the top part of your head, I think it would be more complete. I also like the shadow which is near your hair. It does make the image feels like more interesting. Even though it is a little thing like the bracelet you wear, it will make the whole image more "interesting details"
For the second image, I think this image is using the lights project's skill. The shadow starts from the pointer of the pencil which makes an interesting dark part. You are protect to write something but no words so far. It does make me feel like the image has a lot of to say. Good example of 'story' image.
For the last one, I think you are not focus. You probability shake your hands a little. However, I like the color which is yellowish. It does make the room feels more warm. Your cloth color - black is the focal point to me, and then my eyes go to the right side which probably is the decoration of shell?? ( I do not know what it is but it does attract my eyes., and color is balanced which is a little bit darker than yellows. Kind of light orangeish.
