Project 1, Part 2

  1. Hi Cierra! I really enjoy the pictures you chose to post for your top 5. I think my main 'note' is that in several of your pictures you don't have a clear focal point.

    1. This one in my opinion is very interesting but it doesn't have a clear focal point. I really like the use of color and the angle you decided to take the photo. The use of the tile lines to lead your eye around the picture is very pleasing!

    2. The splash of color in the red bricks is a very nice contrast to the gray. I just wish there was more in the frame to look at, it seems a bit flat and I'm not sure why.

    3. This picture seems closer to what I was thinking for photo 2. I like that there is more to see and that the brick lines guide your eyes around the frame a bit more. The only thing I would do is play with where the red bricks are in the frame but overall this is a nice picture.

    4. This picture has a nice depth of field with the wall that curves back and the brick lines are nice. This picture has no focal point though and no singular point of interest. It would be nice to play with the angle of the photo and see if getting closer or further could add some pizzaz. There is potental here though!

    5. I wish the netting on the left hand side of this picture was in focus. This unfortunately leaves over half of the picture blurry. But the framing and use of lines is so nice!! The vertical lines lead nicely to the horizontal ones. The only other thing that would be nice is if the holes in the netting didn't have anything bellow them so each square led to a solid background, but I understand that would have been difficult/ impossible with this subject.
