  1. For the first image, I recommend shifting your focus to the tree to the right, having it sharp with the trees in the background out of focus. Then for the second shifting your focus to the background.
    The second image does not effectively show depth of field since everything is in focus. But that can be fixed by targeting something, whether the tree or the houses behind it.
    The third image is my favorite. I like the vast differences between the shapes in the fence and the trees in the background. This image represents depth of field the best, with your focus clearly behind drawn to the background. It would be interesting to also have a picture with the fence in focus.
